Our History

When Liz Roller was working in Global Sales at a well known organization, she began working from home part of the week. Liz set up her home office in their small, 10×10 foot guest room.  While she made it work for a while, everything changed after going on a vacation with her family where she and her husband experienced the convenience of a murphy bed.

The hidden wall bed was helpful during their vacation as it provided a comfortable place to sleep and it could also be easily stowed away during the day for extra space.

Liz and her husband realized that a wall bed would be perfect for her home office, which also doubled as a guest suite. Luckily, Liz’s father, Keith Vaughn, had many connections in the home furniture industry as he had 45 years of furniture retail experience in San Carlos at that time. 

Liz and her father Keith began inquiring and found that there were many other people who would benefit from a comfortable bed that can be hidden away in an inconspicuous, stylish cabinet along the wall. These people may work from home and enjoy a murphy bed with desk, need a place to exercise at home, room for projects or hobbies, or simply want more usable space without sacrificing a guest suite. 

Over the years Liz has worked with business partners to expand Wallbeds “n” More to multiple locations across several states.
