Sustainable Multi-Use Furniture
Timeless Design and Solid Construction
At Wallbeds “n” More we love to help people maximize the space in their home by providing multi-functional beds that can quickly and easily be hidden, thus opening up a sizable amount of floor space for other uses. It is also important to us that the hidden beds we offer are built with sustainability in mind.
What does this mean?
Sustainability, as it relates to furniture, means that characteristics such as durability along with quality of material and craftsmanship are prioritized over furniture pieces that are low-cost and viewed as easily replaceable.
On this page we will highlight some of the key ways in which our wall bed models are truly built to last a lifetime, in turn helping to diminish the tons of furniture that ends up in landfills each and every year.
Built-in Longevity
Our selection of wallbeds are designed to support much use over decades of time. One aspect of this is that you can have your wallbed dissembled and moved to a new home if you move or if you want to pass along the bedframe to another family member. The wall bed models we carry can actually be moved many times and hold their safety and structural integrity.
A well-planned, minimal bolt system and using quality materials such as real plywood instead of particle board help to make the longevity of our wallbeds a reality. These beds are crafted in a way that allows them to be installed, taken apart, and re-assembled many, many times throughout their years of daily use while maintaining its integrity.Â
Mattress Preservation
Preserving your mattress may not be something you’ve thought about before, but we have you covered at Wallbeds “n” More. The mattress platforms of our wall beds are designed with internal support that allows your mattress to flex as if it were on a box spring, but also allow for air flow.Â
Air flow under your mattress is important because it helps to prevent mold and mildew from growing. Besides the risk of serious health effects, if mold or mildew were to spread to your bedframe it could cause irreparable damage. Such damage would mean the waste of material, construction and shipping processes, and your time spent setting up a replacement. Â
Purposeful Design
Our wallbed models foundations are structurally sound and built with extra support. Going the extra mile to support the bedframe and mattress allows our wall beds to be used, even daily, for many years. Other brands may use decorative trim pieces or skip the trim completely.Â
In addition, a finished cabinet front at the bottom sets our wallbeds apart from other brands. Not only does this compliment the aethetic, it prevents dirt, dust, and debris from accumulating underneath the cabinet bed.Â
Warranties
At Wallbeds “n” More we provide generous warranties on the wall bed wood structure, mattresses that we offer, and the piston mechanism that allows for an easy lowering and putting away of the bed. We offer these warranties because we are confident in the materials and construction of our wallbeds, and if anything does happen to need repair or replacement we have you covered.
