The best part about having a wallbed is the confidence to invite family or friends to visit without any stress. Having a wallbed reduces your stress around hosting your guests – no more ‘guest stress syndrome’.
How many times have you had guests over where you had to play musical rooms? One child moved into another child’s room to share for a few days, you set up a bed in your office and had to find somewhere else to work because the bed took up all the space, or even worse, your guests were sleeping on the couch so you couldn’t even go into your living room or kitchen without waking them.
Often the most stressful part of hosting guests is:
- Whether you even have a bed/sleeping place for them
- The shuffle of musical beds to accommodate guests
- Worrying if you have a comfortable bed for them to sleep on, especially for more elderly guests or less mobile guests who suffer back and neck pain
Having a Bed Available for Guests
A wallbed takes away this stress because it is a queen-sized bed that you can fold down at any time to accommodate guests. Yet when not in use, it takes up as much space as a cabinet or bookshelves. (You can even use it as bookshelves with our Library wallbed).
Since it can be folded away, you can use it in a spare room, home office, exercise room or even living area.
Not Taking Someone Else’s Bed
Often, a wallbed is a guest bed that is seldom used. (Though it can be used daily! Some people use it themselves or put a wallbed in a smaller child’s room so they have play space). When guests arrive, having a wallbed means that you won’t be displacing someone in your house to host them.
Having a Comfortable Bed for Guests
Having a comfortable bed for your guests is a concern for most hosts. You want to create a space where your guests sleep well and have no aches or pains the next day. As I host, I want to give my guests the best experience they can possibly have while staying in my home, and sleep quality is a huge part of that. With a wallbed, they are using a regular mattress so they have a proper night sleep. The only thing unusual about a wallbed is that it can fold up against the wall!
Would you like to feel less stressed the next time you have guests? A wallbed is a great investment in your home, your guest’s comfort and your sanity.
