Types of Beds 
Vertical
The vertical Murphy Wallbed is the most common type of these beds; it is for those who can fit a bed on the wall from floor to ceiling. This fits the standard 8’ height of most walls in most homes. This type of Murphy Wallbed is available in Twin, Full and Queen, depending on the style.
Horizontal
The horizontal Murphy Wallbed is ideal for those limited by height, whether it is a room with a lower ceiling, a window that is in the way, or if you prefer to use storage space above the bed as well. This type of Murphy wallbed is available in Twin, Full, and Queen, sometimes with the option of a hutch.
Mobile Wallbed
The Mobile Wallbed is a third option of a slightly different space saving bed. It is a self-contained, movable chest bed that requires no installation. It is a great alternative option to a Murphy Wallbed and especially a futon or sofa sleeper. The Mobile Wallbed comes in Full and Queen size, with a specially-designed Memory Foam mattress.
